So i decided to go back to the beginning, where it all started. I made use of pointillism in designing this flower. It was very  time consuming but was worth it.

CHANGE IN NIGERIAN FASHION

My love for fashion made me research on the evolution of fashion in Africa, Nigeria to be precise because I am Nigerian. The fashion industry in Nigeria is huge and this is just a fragment from the massive fashion styles in Nigeria. It is mostly about the evolution of a traditional piece in Nigeria called Iro and Buba for the females and Agbada for the males.
From the first painting to the last, we see where it all started to where it is now. The way it was worn in the 60s to how it is now. And also how females have began to embrace the male fashion styles more which is visible in the third painting where the lady is seen rocking an agbada which is traditionally a male outfit.
The first piece is from the 1960s, the second is from the early 2000s, and the last two are from very recent times.
I made use of the golden open acrylic paint for this piece.

AMERICAN ROBIN(REALISM)

My attempt at a realistic drawing. How much are you going to rate it from a 0-10?

MONOCHROMATIC COLORS

This painting gives me marine vibes. I see see horses and jelly fishes in the picture. Not really my best but i'll make do with it.

SPRING

TRIADIC COLORS are colors evenly spaced around the color wheel. I made use of green, purple and orange here. Green symbolizes life and this has a lot to do with the spring season.

ANALOGOUS PAINTING (MAGIC DUST)

These are any groups of related colors close to each other on the color wheel. I love this painting because it has a little beat of fantasy or fairytale kind of vibe to it. Just giving y'all a sprinkle of magic dust ;)

This was the beginning of everything. Just playing around with colors and allowing my imaginations lead me. I was impresses with what I made out of all this paintings. It got me feeling like a professional artist lol.

GHOST RIDER

Yes! I gave my complementary color painting a face and I am loving it! :) I decided to call this painting Ghost Rider. It reminds me of the movie.

Complementary Colors (Blue and Red) are colors directly opposite each other on the color wheel. I allowed the two colors to create art on their own. I decided not to be manipulative about this artwork and it created something I could work with.

COATS OF MANY COLORS
This was inspired by a book in the Holy Bible, Genesis chapter 37 verse 3(King James Version).
I made use of cross contour lines for this design.

DESIGN PROCESS FOR COATS OF MANY COLORS

DOTTED BOW.
I made use of pointillism to give this bow more definition. I went in with different colors to add to the beauty. This design reminds me of an African clothing material called ANKARA.

DOTTED BOW.
WOMEN AND FLOWERS
The words from a poem by Quintin Gunn reads:
"A woman is like a flower, to make her bloom you must shower her with tenderness and love".

I made use of cross hatched lines for the stem, flowers, leafs and the woman's back to give more details.

Women and Flowers.

Finished product of the Zentangled fish. it took me a while to figure out what kind of design to use for this drawing. i chose zentangle because it reflects the beauty in diversity. Different shapes and symbols unifying to make up a beautiful piece. This drawing also shows my love for sea food :)
